HOME
The Lodgepole Inn sits beside a mountain meadow near the Little Blackfoot River about a mile from the continental divide, and features a studio apartment with a private deck. We’re off the beaten path, with quick access to the great outdoors, yet only a half hour from the Helena airport. Activities range from blue-ribbon fly-fishing and hiking to hunting and cross country skiing…unless you’d rather just lay in a hammock in the tree house and read a book.
The apartment includes a full bath with a tub/shower, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and two burner stove. There is a table and chairs, and the kitchen comes equipped with plenty of pots, pans, skillets, and silverware for most cooking jobs. We’ve found most people prefer to keep their own schedules so daily and weekly rates no longer include a full breakfast; however home-cooked breakfasts and dinners can be had at prices that depend on what you want…just ask.
The Lodgepole Inn has a queen sized bed, a day bed that doubles as a couch, plenty of storage to make traveling comfortable, hard wood floors, and most of the amenities of home…all in a wilderness setting. It sleeps two to three comfortably, and if you’re just looking to get away to the mountains for a couple of days, it’s ideally suited for couples.
Prices:
$95/night, $525/week (six nights)
